Jevf is your pointer, and every click plays him saying his own name out loud. That is the whole bit, and we gave it away under the MIT license — art, audio and code — so anyone can bolt it onto their own site in one line.

No dependencies, no build step, no framework. It is a real CSS cursor rather than a box chasing your mouse, so it never lags. Touch screens are left alone, and the button in the corner mutes it.
The sound file ships with it. Install it and your visitors hear him too, with a mute button in the corner for the ones who would rather not.

Not just in a browser tab. The real system pointer, in every app you open.
Windows: download the cursor, press Win + R, run main.cpl, open the Pointers tab, select Normal Select, click Browse and pick the file. No extra software.
macOS: Apple gives no supported way to change the pointer, so this needs Mousecape, a free open-source app. It is fiddly and Apple can break it. Full steps in the guide.
Art only. The click sound stays on the web, because making it work everywhere would mean an app that watches every click you make, and nobody should grant that to a cartoon.

Jev is an actual model from TypeSafe AI, a San Francisco lab that left stealth on September 15, 2026 with a forty million dollar seed round led by DCVC. It returns typed decisions with confidence scores instead of generating text, and it is built for machine-to-machine automation rather than conversation.
Jevf is a cartoon with a similar name and none of the engineering. We track the real thing here because it is genuinely interesting, and because borrowing a name obliges you to say plainly who built what.
